Victoria Miles is an experienced and accomplished MBA instructor at University Canada West. With a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from Simon Fraser University, she is well-equipped to teach business communications at UCW.
Victoria’s expertise and experience in the field of communications spans over 25 years, during which she has held leadership roles in corporate and education communications. She has a diverse range of professional specialties, including media and public relations, communications project management, strategic planning, branding and storytelling, writing and editing, and employee engagement.
Throughout her career, Victoria has worked with organizations such as Capilano University, the North Vancouver School District, Citizens Bank of Canada, Vancity, and The Loewen Group, helping them to effectively communicate their message and build strong relationships with their audiences.
Victoria’s teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of leveraging a diversity of communication practices, theories, methods and media to promote awareness and understanding in a complex world. She believes that the ability to communicate effectively is more valuable than ever and strives to instill this belief in her students.
