Dr. Oludamola Durodola brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the MBA program at University Canada West. With a diverse background in finance, including a Ph.D. in Management with a focus on finance and professional certifications in the securities and investment industry, Dr. Durodola is well-equipped to teach the Financial Management course in the MBA program.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Durodola is also an experienced curriculum designer, financial coach and consultant, and financial and stock market analyst. His research interests include the empirical behaviour of the financial market to macroeconomic fundamentals, personal finance and financial literacy.
Dr. Durodola’s teaching philosophy is centred on the student. He designs his courses based on the student’s prior knowledge and experience and applies multi-modal delivery methods such as flipped-classroom, activity-based and project-based learning to enhance the quality of education. He believes that students should not only learn academic theories but should also be able to apply these theories and concepts in real-world situations.
