Dr. Hala Fendi is an accomplished MBA Professor at the University Canada West (UCW) with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of architectural engineering technology, project management, and leadership. With a Ph.D., MSc, and BSc in Architecture Engineering Technology, as well as an Instructor Diploma, LEED, and Project Management Institute certificate, Dr. Fendi is well-versed in the latest industry trends and techniques. She is also in the process of becoming a Certified Change Management Professional and holds a Master of Engineering Leadership in Urban System from the University of British Columbia.
As a PMP-certified project manager and architect, Dr. Fendi has extensive experience working with MG Architects, Diction and Al Bayan Consultants, and has the ability to identify and analyze problems and synthesize social and economic facts into livable proposals. She has also worked on high-efficiency quantitative proposals and projects, along with a team of engineers, through Metro Vancouver municipalities corporation and assistance, like Blatchford City Development Project in Edmonton.
Dr. Fendi is a dedicated educator who is passionate about empowering students to think critically, creatively, and productively. She aims to create a curriculum where students are able to pursue their learning goals and develop as self-evaluators. Additionally, Dr. Fendi has experience developing course syllabi for business and management courses and teaching online and in class, with extensive experience in managing teams and projects and more than 14 years as an instructor and educator.
Dr. Fendi currently teaches Project Management and Operations Management at University Canada West and is a dedicated and passionate instructor who is committed to providing her students with a high-quality education. She is known for her ability to engage students and create an interactive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Her expertise in project management, leadership, and sustainable design is a valuable asset to the students at UCW.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Fendi is also involved in research and publications in the field of architecture, project management, and sustainable design.
