Alonso Molina Adame holds an MDes in Interdisciplinary Design and BSc in Industrial Design. He teaches Prototyping for Entrepreneurs at University Canada West for the MBA program.
Alonso is primarily a designer, researcher, maker and educator based in Vancouver, BC.
He has professional experience in different industries such as education, manufacturing and service design. Alonso has managed, developed, and founded different start-ups. His previous work ranges from furniture, product manufacturing, and industrial design to education and service design.
As an educator, he has worked at different universities in Mexico and Canada. In this role, he tries to encourage curiosity and lead students to self-improvement by giving them empowering tools so they can learn beyond the classroom by themselves. He has also led Product Development and Design Thinking workshops for high schools and companies like 3M, DuPont, and Sealed Air.
