Dr. Caio Cardoso is an experienced MBA professor at University Canada West (UCW). He holds a Ph.D. in Contemporary Communications and Culture from UFBA – the Federal University of Bahia in 2020 and earned a master’s degree on the same topic from UFBA in 2016. He also earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism from UFJF – Federal University of Juiz de Fora in 2014.
As a professor, Dr. Cardoso is passionate about fostering meaningful debates about current issues in his classes, specifically in the areas of moral philosophy and communications. He is keen on helping his students understand the relationship between social change and communications. He is proficient in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Before joining UCW, Dr. Cardoso had experience teaching journalism and media ethics, and editing and photographing material for three issues of a news magazine specializing in gender and diversity. Additionally, he has published papers in prestigious academic congresses, journals, and magazines in Brazil.
